I just wanted to thank you all for your kind and encouraging words.  It really means so much.  And even though the weather here has been so-so this weekend, we are beginning to see more sunshine and less clouds.

I hope the more sunshine and less clouds isn't only true of the weather but of the general mood around your place, too. I've been thinking of you.
And I have to say, I'm so glad you featured Ward here. I'd gotten to know him after moving to Portland and have to say that he and his wife are two of the sweetest people around. And he's one fabulous illustrator. Glad to know you like his work, too.
