I love the snow. I really do. But I am done with winter. So. Done.
Thanks Bethany for the cute wallpaper!
And my 3rd love, that would be my Kindle. I somehow can never read one book at a time and having a Kindle just exacerbates that 'problem', but I love it. I especially enjoy that I can read samples of books before buying. At first I was against them. I just couldn't imagine not holding an actual book in my hand. But I've been won over. There are of course some books that I would still want physical copies of but the Kindle is really going to keep the number of books that we need to store at home to a minimum I think.
What I'm reading (an incomlete list):
Rescue by Anita Shreve
Steady Days by Jamie Martin
Organized Simplicity by Tsh Oxenreider
How do you like "Organized Simplicity". I've looked at it a few times at the store, but not sure how much I would actually use it... I would love to hear what you think.

I too am wishing the summer to hurry up and make an appearance, there is something about the sun that makes me have a really productive day!
Also that toast looks really scrummy! What is that organized simplicty book about? I am currently trying to simplify, starting with decluttering 11 items a day in 11 days - I am blogging about it too, to keep me focused. Stacey x

Thanks Erin!! ;) I am so like you... always having many books I'm reading at the same time! (Craig got the same cover for his Kindle...love the orange!) I prefer reference books and cookbooks in the physical copy but novels on my iPad. It's helping with the bookshelf overcrowding! I keep waiting for the weather to stop being so bad so I can drive out to see you!

I've been apprehensive to purchase a Kindle, but have only heard good things...maybe I'll have to just follow the trend and get one! Thanks for the post!

I already read the book organized simplicity. This book, always interested in learning new organizing strategies, I discovered that not only is this book about organizing each section of your home, it’s about learning to live with less.

So far I like it but I'm a couple of chapters in. When I get a bit further I'll give you more thoughts!

Stacey, It's basically about removing things from your home/life that don't matter to make rooms for the things that do. Here's the link to it on amazon: http://tinyurl.com/5wrhfpb

I'm the same. Reference, cookbooks, architecture/interior design books I'll still buy the actual books. Yes, it's really enabling my ADD when it comes to reading books, MANY at one time!

Yea, Janice. That's what attracted me to the book, learning to live with less instead of just trying to figure out ways to organize it all.

I will have to give the book a try. Thks

I prefer to reference books and the physical copy of the recipe, and Its in my laptop. It helps overcrowded shelves! I've been waiting for the weather not be so bad.

I'm also excited by the Kindle and its two great qualities: the ability to carry a whole library around with me in a package that easily fits in my purse, and the ability to get rid of many of the physical books we have, which mostly just gather dust on their shelves. The main problem I've had with the Kindle is that a lot of my favorite books are 10-20 years old and aren't available for the Kindle. I hope that situation will be changing as ebooks take over the marketplace.
